Japanese Samurai Tanto Sword, 1045 Carbon Steel, Hand Forged, Full Tang

Introducing the 288Model Sharpened tanto Samurai Katana Sword. This exquisite sword features a Musashi tsuba and is made from 1045 carbon steel. The blade is fully hand forged and heat tempered, with a hi (blood groove) and hand sharpened edge using a Japanese whetstone. The sword also boasts a beautiful hamon (tempered line) for added authenticity.

The tsuka (handle) of the sword is made from wood and covered in genuine ray skin, wrapped in traditional Japanese cotton ito with menuki. The sword has a full tang with wood peg (mekugi) and is engraved with the blacksmith's signature. The saya (scabbard) is made from black piano lacquered wood with a black cotton sageo (cord). The entire sword can be fully disassembled and reassembled with ease.

The blade measures approximately 12.5" with Habaki, while the handle is approximately 6.5", making the overall length with Saya 21". The weight with Saya is 1.3 lb and without Saya is 1 lb. The package includes an assembled tanto with saya, a black cotton tanto bag, and a tube cardboard tanto box.
