We use traditional forging methods such as heat tempered or clay tempered for our blades. All of our blades are full tang, engraved with the signature of the swordsmith, and can be fully disassembled and assembled. Most of our functional blades are made of high carbon content steel, but we also offer blades made of stainless steel or aluminum alloy for Iaido training swords. Our tsubas and other fittings are usually made of brass, coper, iron, or alloy, depending on each tsuba. The handles and scabbards are made of wood or other specified materials, with the handles covered by rayskin and Japanese cotton Ito.

The package includes an assembled Wakizashi sword with saya, a black cotton Wakizashi bag, and a tube cardboard Wakizashi box. Please note that the sword stand is not included. The 1045 Fully Handmade Quality Japanese Samurai Wakizashi Sword features a brass Musashi tsuba, full tang, sharp edge, and is functional. The approximate 21" blade has a 9.5" handle, making the overall length 32.5". The wooden handle is wrapped with rayskin and black cotton cord with Menuki, and the scabbard is black piano lacquered wood tied with black Japanese cotton Sageo.
