Unsharpened Blade Iaito Sword for Iaido Practice Samurai Katana

This is the Iaito version of the Musashi Katana, created with the same exceptional quality as its predecessor but with an unedged Ha. The Iaito is the safest and best way to practice the Japanese sword arts, providing a feel identical to a live blade and greater durability than aluminum alloy. It is the ideal training tool for safely practicing the ancient art of Iaido, and comes with a FREE black cloth sword bag.

Blade: The blade of the sword is handcrafted from through hardened high carbon steel, with a Bo-Hi added to the top for better balance and audible feedback when swung. It features an aesthetic Hamon running the length of the blade, ending at the blade's Kissake, and is full tang and unsharpened.

Saya: Constructed of wood with a dull gloss black finish, the Saya has a black cotton Sage-o tied around a bright copper Kurigata, and a hardened ring Koi-guchi to secure the blade when sheathed.

Tsuba: The Habaki is a solid one-piece brass construction over a copper Seppa, with a Tsuba made from blackened steel alloy in the classic Musashi double ring design.

Tsuka: The Fuchi is blackened steel, with a hard wood core, ray skin Same, and black cotton Ito. Copper Menuki decorate each side of the Tsuka, and two Bamboo Mekugi secure the tang. The Kashira is blackened steel.
